Nowadays trying to spare the environment by limiting energy consumption and recycling waste products the standard. At Slittech we like to take this a step further.

We are in a continuous search of ways to further reduce our impact on the environment. By making the production process more clean or reducing the amount of raw materials needed.

Slitting waste won’t just end up in the bin. No, we take care in recycling materials or sending the waste back to our client for re-entry in the production cycle.

Our own solar energy production

Our latest goal is to become completely self sustained regarding our energy needs. The first big step has already been taken by placing 300 solar panels on our large and flat roof. And there are more to come.

We are currently investigating machines that can bring cold where needed (airconditioning on the production floor) but also heat on places where we need it. In our machines that need to warm up before production for example.
